Studio for businesses and brands

Read your campaign results

Short answer

A campaign groups the events you sponsor so you can see what the whole thing was worth. Its results count only people a door checked in, not RSVPs and not views. The headline figure is what you paid per person through the door. No results appear until at least five people have come.

Plan a campaign

  1. In Studio, open Campaigns and choose Plan your first campaign (or start another).
  2. Choose the kind of campaign, then fill in Name, Budget in dollars, Starts and Ends, and save.
  3. Add events to it from Events near you, or with Sponsor another event on the campaign.

A budget is what you planned, not a limit anything enforces. You pay for each sponsorship once its host agrees. See invoices, fees and support.

Read the results

Each campaign shows:

  • per person through the door: what you paid, divided by the people who came.
  • people who came: people checked in at a door at the campaign's events.
  • came to just one of these events: people who came to only one of them.

Until five people have come, the campaign shows under 5 people so far instead of numbers. This protects the people who came from being identified.

On the campaign's own page, Download results as CSV exports the same aggregate figures. Groups under five people stay hidden in the download too.

Compare campaigns

Once two campaigns have run, Analytics puts them side by side, ranked by what each cost per person a door checked in. A shorter bar is cheaper.

What you will not see

Results are counts. They never include names, contact details or which person came to which event. A check-in is only treated as proof that somebody came, nothing more.

Pause or end a campaign

On Campaigns, you can pause a campaign, resume it, or end it. Give a short reason when asked.

  • Pausing waits until you resume. Nothing already agreed changes.
  • Ending stops the campaign for good. Sponsorships and money already agreed stay as they are.

Common problems

  • The results say "under 5 people so far". Fewer than five people have been checked in at the campaign's events.
  • No comparison on Analytics. It appears once two campaigns have run.
  • Studio asks you to accept an agreement first. A desk accepts the agreement for working on nCommunity before it starts a campaign. Accept it on that screen.
