Studio for businesses and brands

Billing, booking fees and getting help in Studio

Short answer

Studio shows every amount your desk owes nCommunity, and anything we owe back, on Billing (or Booking fees for a venue). Nothing is charged automatically. For anything else, open Help at the bottom of the rail to find an answer or open a case with us.

Businesses and brands: Billing

Open Billing. It shows your balance and every sponsorship or invoice.

  • Sponsorships. Offering to sponsor an event charges nothing. When the host accepts, the sponsorship appears as waiting for you to pay. Choose Pay with the amount to pay it through our payments partner. The event shows your name once payment clears.
  • Invoices. Invoices for your campaigns are listed with their due date and status. On a desk, only an owner, an admin or finance can choose Download on an invoice.
  • Credit. If a charge was reversed after it was billed, Billing says in credit, we owe you this.

Creators find the same screen under Earnings, on the Billing tab. Money a creator owes from hosting, such as a refund after a payout, is held back from what they earn next instead.

Venues: Booking fees

Open Earnings, then the Booking fees tab.

  • When a booking request carries a fee, you see it on the request before you answer.
  • A fee is only owed once the booking has actually happened. A cancelled booking owes nothing; its fee shows as waived.
  • We do not have a card on file for you, and nothing is charged automatically. The fees build up as a balance, and we will be in touch about paying it.
  • Once a payment is recorded against a fee, it shows as paid.

Get help from Studio

  1. Choose Help at the bottom of the rail.
  2. Check the common answers first. They cover payouts, booking fees, offers, sponsorships, verification and refunds, depending on your desk.
  3. To ask us, fill in the form: choose what it is About, add a Subject and describe What happened?
  4. Choose Send to nCommunity.

Your case and every reply stay on the same page under your cases. To answer, open the conversation and choose Send reply. There is no set turnaround for verification reviews.

If you cannot sign in to Studio, use the contact link at the bottom of this page.

Common problems

  • "Only an owner, an admin or finance can download invoices on this desk." Ask someone with one of those roles, or ask an owner to change your role on Team.
  • "That invoice did not download." Try again.
  • "A case with this subject is already open." Continue that case under your cases instead.
  • "Reply sent, but the conversation could not refresh." Your reply went through. Reopen the conversation rather than sending it again.

Never send a password, a sign-in code or a full card number in a case.
